As we've stated before, one of our key success factors is communication and
information sharing. On this page you'll find a number of articles,
informational papers and behavioural models. Please feel free to reprint these
papers and use them within your own organization. We do ask,
however, that you read and live within our Copyright
Notice.
And of course we would be more than happy to explore your opinions and
thoughts about these subjects. So ... if you have any questions or comments
please e-mail Glen Ford
Behavioural Models:
We have a number of models describing organizational behaviour. We will also
be adding to them on an "irregular" basis (we used to say once a month
but as you can tell by the dates we sort of fell behind). Please feel free to
check them out. And we would enjoy hearing your thoughts and opinions regarding
these models.
- The Capability Continuum
- Organizational Needs Development
- Respect
- Three Skills for IS Project Success
- Change: An Environmental View
Structural Frameworks:
We also have a number of static models (we call them frameworks). These
frameworks model some of the structures which we encounter. They are most
effective when performin analysis for process improvement, implementation of
methodologies, skills determination etc. The ones we have available for you
right now are:
- IS/IT Vertical Framework is a
framework describing the lines of service which an IS/IT organization
might be involved in. (You might also look at our Methodology Mentoring
page).
- IS/IT Horizontal Framework is a framework describing the processes
which an IS/IT organization is involved in. (You might also look at
our Methodology Mentoring page).
- IS/IT Combined Framework is a framework describing an IS/IT
organization. (You might also look at our Methodology Mentoring
page).
Articles:
We've also written several articles and informational papers some of which
are attached (and more of which will be attached). Enjoy. And please feel free
to comment.

Books:
Finally, we have several books to our credit as well. Unfortunately, very few
of them are free. However, here are links to them:
- ACEIT!: PMP Exam Preparation (2ND
Edition For The PMBOK Guide 3RD Edition) Co-written with Dave
Nielsen Published 2005 by Three O Consulting as part of their
e-learning preparation course for the PMP certification exam.
- 101
Limericks About Public Speaking 2008, TrainingNOW. Co-written with Paul
Benson, illustrated by Aputik. Not
everything has to be serious! In our training courses (that is TrainingNOW's)
we often use humour to overcome resistance or to make a point. One of the
courses (on public speaking naturally enough!) has a number of points where
humour has an important part to play. After all the fear of public speaking
is the greatest fear of all (statistically speaking). This book came out of
a need to address many of the learning points with humour. And we simply got
tired of looking for other people's humour that never quite seemed to fit.
