In order to download DiskTune. Press here. This will download a shareware version of the program for you to try. It is in a self-extracting zip file format. In order to install it:

1. Create a temporary directory
2. Place the .exe file in the temporary directory
3. Run the .exe
4. Be sure to read the READ ME text file before installing
5. Run the setup.exe program

The easiest method to do this is from within Windows Explorer. 

Please note that DiskTune now runs ONLY in a Win32 environment (i.e. Win 95, 98, NT). It no longer will run in a DOS or Windows 3.0/3.1/3.11 environment. However, in exchange, it runs much faster. It is now bundled with all required DLLs although it is recommended that you obtain the latest from Microsoft.
