LANSA is a comprehensive, repository based development tool for rapid
systems development (i.e. a CASE tool). It is capable of deploying systems
onto many different platforms (including the AS/400, PC, Unix, PALM OS,
and WWW browser) using the same underlying software (not that we're
suggesting you do that). It is extremely well positioned for development
of E-Commerce modules either from scratch or integrating legacy systems.

We have been involved in LANSA development since 1991. Our experience
includes the full life cycle including Project Management, Rapid xxxx
Object Modeller (RUOM), Template
Planning and Development, RDML Coding, Development of Test Plans, and
Implementation Support. We are uniquely positioned to mentor your staff in
LANSA implementation and your first development projects.
Project Management
We have almost 20 years experience in project management of which 10
is largely LANSA oriented. We have developed systems using both RAD
and Waterfall methodologies. We have designed project management
processes which are ISO 9000-3 and SEI CMM compliant.
Analysis and Design
We have extensive experience in the analysis and design of systems.
Our background includes experience in operational and administrative
management (as well as in IT management). As an aside, for LANSA
projects, we generally prefer to use a OOD (Object Oriented Design)
techniques for the technical portions of the design. When combined
with JAD (Joint Application Design) and (if necessary) a process
design technique such as Interface Diagrams we find that OOD is the
most appropriate and gives the best physical organization.
Development
Although we concentrate on the people aspects of systems, we've
never given up the technical aspects. We have extensive experience in
the use of LANSA to develop systems. Generally, we prefer to use this
experience to mentor your developers.
